My role at BDO is an internal auditor, where I perform weekly reviews for clients, looking at their processes in different areas within the business and ensuring these are being adhered to across the business as a whole. Providing recommendations where there are gaps in the processes.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the work, however sometimes came be a little mundane and repetative

Yes, my communication skills have developed a huge amount since working at BDO, aswella s my analytical skills through completing the ACA qualification

How well organised/structured is your programme?

As a whole the organisation of the programme is good, however the ICAEW need to provide clearer guidance on completing the online training file
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot, and whenever requested for additional support, they have always been able to provide it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I feel the qualification is more focussed around external audit, however there is still a lot of overlap between internal audit, advisory work and the qualification
