Supporting the team to implement the operational risk framework and supporting the first line of defense e.g. answering op risk questions that they have.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the progam mostly, however there is one module on my course that I do not enjoy.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have been able to learn a variety of new and develop existing skills these include; communication, collaboration, problem solving and data analysis.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The program is very well structure and there is a very clear plan to follow. I feel that the first module was slightly too long though.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive a lot of support from my employer, this includes weekly 121s with my line manager and allowing me time to study/revise.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I receive adequate support from my training provider, however at this stage of the course I do not require a lot of support therefore this could change.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

So far the content has not been massively helpful but is definitely relevant to understand wider topics within the financial services industry, I feel as we move forward it will become more helpful.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are multiple networks that you can joy, we are encouraged to volunteer and I have played 5 aside football multiple different times with different people.

Why?
UBS has a great culture to work in and I have felt very welcomed and happy since I have joined. There is lots of opportunities to learn and I feel supported my colleagues. Overall, it is a good place to work.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to UBS?
I would advise to do some background research into the company before applying to ensure that the role that you are applying for suits your skills and your needs.
