Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My day to day role involves administrative tasks on behalf of clients. This includes general contact and mailing updates. I also produce annual review packs for client meetings. I also help with account openings too.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I think the programme is excellent. The work/study balance is just right and the progression in the role is also fast if you want it to be.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes I have learnt numerous skills that include better communication, time-keeping skills, knowing how to act and look professional, and skills that include going above and beyond your job title.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very well - clear what we are working towards, I understand the business and the uni work is also very clear
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
lots, there are many means of support, not just through my manager. I feel I can talk to anyone in the business comfortably, and everyone is always willing to help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
There are plenty of support options, and these are useful when the workload builds up, which it will do sometimes. Also when we approach exam time, tutors and lecturers are there to offer support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Definitely. When you work with investments everyday its useful to know their purpose and what they are for, and how each one can vary.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
soooo many! there are networks including one for supporting female colleagues, one to help those get back into work after a period of time out, one for BAME colleagues and allies, one for LGBT+ people etc. there are also plenty of work drinks and parties!!
