My day-to-day activity changes quite often due to the diverse number of roles we get to experience during the apprenticeship. Most placements involve me learning the role of a maintenance technician. This includes all areas such as electrical, mechanical and fluid power systems.

The program is very well structured especially in relation to the work placements. The educational side is also well structured and has coped well with recent struggles regarding the pandemic, covering weekly topics online throughout the year.

The support is good from the training provider and you can always ask questions which you will receive good feedback from. There are also various emails you can use in order to contact them if required as you only go to training center once a week usually. This gives you the opportunity to as questions at all times.

5/5
I feel that a lot of the topic covered during the qualifications have helped with my performance within my role. you cover all areas from mechanical, electrical, CNC, fluid power, robotics, programming and business management. I would comfortably say that each of these areas has had some positive impact on my performance within the workplace.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
