I am learning new skills and knowledge by working with aircraft maintenance to ensure airworthiness is maintained to keep others safe
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying this programme, being hands on makes it interesting and thats where i learn all the new skills.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt lots of new skills and developed the existing skills i learnt before the apprenticeship. I've broadened my knowledge of the impacts of health and safety and hand skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Overall the programme is well structured however organisation can improve slightly by explaining and fully engaging with apprentices and not leaving some in the dark.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer supports me when i ask or need the support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We receive an immense support when it comes to achieving qualifications and modules
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Achieving my nvq allows me to perform to a good quality and achieve it while being safe. The modules i have learnt allows me to understand my role better.

None that i am aware of. Some of the cohort may go out together however this is outside of work

It has a strong work ethic and assists you in what you need for the future. It's support to get you where you want and to strive in the future
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to British Airways?
Make sure you want this because the application process is harder than some. Ensure that this is a path you want to take in the long run. Always ask yourself is this what you want to do, why do you want to do it and how you want to achieve it. Always have a plan. Come prepared to interviews and assessment days. The experience is amazing once your on the journey but make sure you know what opportunities you want in the future.
