Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I am a Global Operations Exec working on implementing new systems to support the operation at the airline. This is mostly in project management/support by helping colleagues plan their activities to make sure we delivery key projects on time.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
I do not particularly 'enjoy' the programme as I don't enjoy reading lots of academic texts. However, it has been useful and speaking to colleagues about the questions we've been considering has sparked some interesting thoughts & conversations.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt more about team leadership and project leadership, along with learning more about finances and strategy in the business. These are probably the two main things that I'd say have been positives so far in the programme.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Well structured as follows a clear set of modules within each area of the course. Sometimes the way in which announcements are made is not particularly well done.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I have recieved ample support in getting my 20% On the Job time to work towards the Masters. They have supported me when I needed to host questionnaires and surveys as well.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
It's been a mixed bag here. There are support options but overwhelmingly we are left to our own devices to do the training and/or assessments.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
In my current role, perhaps not as much as it could. However in terms of team leadership skills and understanding how companies work more generally, it has been useful. I think in future roles it will be more helpful.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are sports teams and walking clubs etc., or there were before COVID.
