I'm a 1:1 TA at a special needs school, I help support students in lesson and help with areas such as toileting and feeding.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme. I love being able to take what I learn through coursework and apply it to my role

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Everything is structured very well. The induction was very useful as you got a good grip on everything you needed to know. Support is very good as you always have someone to talk to if you need anything
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I am very supported by my employer. They are very understanding if I need to take time off due to personal reasons. when I went through some health issues last year, they were very understanding and supportive.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My tutor is really good! They explain everything perfectly and they are there when ever I am stuck with anything. I have dyslexia and they are really understanding of my needs and give me extra support when needed
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Very well. I have been able to put the theory I have learnt into practice. I have learnt more about the everyday running of the schools, the different roles in the school and what my role is beyond the classroom
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have a socials every season, where we can catch up with other apprentices and staff at inspire ATA, we have CPD training sessions, which tend to take place while we are on school holidays. They also held a ton of workshops during National Apprenticeship week

They give you lots of support from the beginning and there is no messing about with roles. the learning aspect is amazing is very benefical.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Inspire ATA Ltd.?
Make sure your CV is up to date with all your qualifcations, make sure you give at least a couple of hours to really scope out what roles they have availble on their website and social media platforms. Read all the information they give you when you go out for roles.
