Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My Role as an involves me being in the public representing British Airways. I will attend career fairs events to promote British Airways as a company .I will focus on young people at school and Universities to try and get them to join BA and get in the Avaition Industry.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have loved being an ambassador, and I am very greatly for the opportunities it has given me , allowed me to progress in my career.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Being an ambassador has allowed me to be more confident both in general and in social situations like talking in front of a crowd. It has also enhanced my overall communication skills , and allowed me to meet great people ,create amazing opportunities and allowed to network with various people and companies with in the Aviation industry.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Myself and the rest of the Ambassadors received daily updates from the people in charge of the us and check-ins to keep us engaged and work on our next steps to improve. We are always planning for events and what we could do different to attract more people into a career with BA.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

When going through training we received a lot of support and the training mentors are always very supportive. They answered any questions we have and went in depth with anything we didn’t understand to make sure we understood it by the end of training.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualifications and the standards that I have been trained to allow me to be able to carry out my role with confidence, and focus. I am able to deal with any problems I encountered and remain composed and solve issues due to my training.I also don’t think I would be able to perform to the standard that I am at just now if I had done my training anywhere else.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Being an ambassador has allowed to be able to attend various networking events to build connection with other people ,and well known companies.

Would you recommend British Airways to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Because I believe there is no experience like it. The training,the people and opportunities are top class and the opportunities to have a successful career and job are high.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to British Airways?
I would say be honest to yourself in your abilities,and the role that an ambassador is. This is because it requires you to talk to be able and crowds ,and even if you arent good at talking the company will make sure you become good.
