Work on tax claims for our portfolio of clients with my colleagues who are helping me to learn and progress as a member of my team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The program is unbelievable, to offer the skills and experience for a fantastic firm such as EY whilst earning my own salary is unbelievable.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt to develop as person in a professional background. To conduct myself accordingly when working with all levels of hierarchy across multiple companies.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The program has been running for years at EY therefore they have adapted the program from feedback. This makes it extremely organized in its structure.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

From my employer, I have a buddy, a counsellor and an apprenticeship coach. I always have somebody to talk to and discuss any issues inside or outside of work I might be experiencing
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
regular support and updates, Kaplan also has a 9-5 support line where you can speak to a tutor if you need help on anything
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Very confident. It allows me practice the theory I have learned in real time scenarios which helps me to progress and understand further.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are sports teams dependent on offices and a network for probably everything you can think of to allow you to connect with individuals of all backgrounds who share similar interests.

I would and I have. To several. The qualifications and experience you receive are second to none. It is the best way to learn and progress in you career which being part of an amazing inclusive business
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
To be yourself. Your qualifications make up about 10% of who you are, at EY it is about character, being a member of a team not just an employee. Do not be afraid to be yourself and stand out in different ways to just grades.
