I work as team leader at my setting, so taking control of the room with supervision from manager and delegating tasks to team members on a daily basis.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed doing my assignments as I was able to explore and research different criteria’s and expand my knowledge.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have become more confident in taking lead and supporting team members when they need it, and able to make decisions using my own initiative.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The program was good as I was able to get support from my assessor when needed and was always fully supportive. They always got back to my emails and always had contact with them every month.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer are very supportive, as they encouraged me to take on this course to build up my confidence.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I received a lot of support from my assessor via phone calls and emails, I was in contact every month and in between when I needed support with my workload.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has made me more confident to speak to other people and be more open and be able to make decisions on my own initiative as before I was hesitant.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have team building trainings from time to time which help support us to gain more knowledge and work as a team.

They are a good training service provider they give you a lot of support throughout your course and especially my tutor who was very good and very supportive!
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Paragon Skills?
To take on the course they are choosing to do as it does help you learn a lot of skills and you do become more confident in the role you are doing.
