I am an undergraduate engineer working in software and currently practising and doing onramps to do my project. I sit in meetings and take notes while brushing up on my programming skills.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

My manager catches up with me every week to review and plan my progress. My team always help me when I'm stuck and dial me into interesting meetings. Help is literally one message/call away or right outside my door step.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I meet with my tutor fortnightly and the time is designated to my specific needs which I love. She's patient and gentle and she loves helping me, I enjoy this time mostly because I get to speak my true mind.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Yes, it helps me a lot for example, I never knew how to program before I got to Dyson but my first rotation was in Electronics and I learned applied programming with my training provider so it helped me in my first role. I've definitely put theory into practice.
