Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I am an undergraduate engineer so I work on a team 3 days a week and study with Warwick 2 days a week. I am in my first year so my team for work changes every 3 months so I get an overview of all types of engineering
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I have enjoyed it a lot, the study/work balance works really well to keep everything interesting and doesn't feel repetitive at all.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
So far I have learnt mainly programming and have learnt multiple languages such as Node JS, C sharp and Python. I have also developed my soft skills such as teamwork and communication.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very well organised, get whole timetables for each team very early knowing which days are lectures, work, exams and days off.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
A lot of support is available, both academic and workplace and there are multiple people to talk to about any concerns that arise.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
We have apprenticeship logging days and meeting which helps me keep on top of everything to do with the apprenticeship qualification.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I feel like the lectures really help me with my workplace which solidifies what i have learnt in lectures so i feel that i am developing very quickly.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Yes, the undergraduate experience committee puts on a lot of events to help socially. The only downside is the absence of sport teams but that is due to the small cohort size.
