I really enjoy working in my workplace team. The general Dyson culture makes it a great place to work. I feel they really care about my development and enjoyment of my work.

I’ve developed everything from my technical engineering to my presentation skills. I have developed all the skills I need for a professional working environment

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The Dyson side of the programme is generally well organised. If there is an uncertainties, the Institute team are always available to clarify things. The Warwick organisation of the programme leaves a lot to be desired.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A LOT. Dyson and the Dyson Institute are very understanding and very supportive.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Warwick normally deliver their teaching in person so it is easy to ask questions and get help when needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The degree helps to quantify the more technical building block that are used in the workplace.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are tons. The Institute has a social budget. Work teams have team socials, there is a free gym and sports hall (pre COVID)

There is no better way to learn the skills you need to succeed in a professional work environment. Working in RDD we are able to see the new graduates form other universities and compare our course to a traditional experience.
