3 days working on site and 2 days working on a BEng. We have multiple rotations in different teams and in different engineering disciplines. Mechanical, electrical and software followed by in the new product innovation sector.

I've learnt how to act in a professional setting while at the same time gaining engineering knowledge. Both in a theoretical and practical sense.

The DIET team is very helpful and open to feedback. Very clear structure for both the work aspect and the learning aspect.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

As much support as is required to have an informative and fun experience.

We have meetings every term and the providers are always available to answer questions.

The line managers are very good at integrating what we are learning at that time with our project.

It's the best mixture of theoretical and on the job training while still having a sociable and open atmosphere.
