Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is a nursery practitioner. Day to day basis I am observing children- tracking their learning and progress, fur filling their needs such as feeding them, changing their nappies, comforting them, playing with them and more. I enjoy to make them happy in the care they are in and making everyday enjoyable and fun for them.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed the programme so much. I found it really reliable and easy to work around my free time to complete my work.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I never knew how to change nappies, I learnt how to toilet train, my communication skills have improved massively and also my confidence has boosted.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very organised. The work was set with plenty of time for me to complete, and if I needed more time my tutor would support me with that.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer gave me lots of support through the course, on a weekly basis we would have catch up sessions on my coursework and if I needed any other resources or time to complete my task.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

When working towards my qualification, I had loads of support from my tutor. No matter what time of the day she was always their to help me if I ever felt stressed and struggled on tasks. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] would fit in the time of the day and give me guidance in what I needed to do.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification has helped me perform better in my role. From the tasks I have been doing in the course has enabled me to put them to every day work in the nursery.

They were amazing to me. The whole company gave me so much support and was easy to follow to complete my work. The websites used to set tasks were simple to follow.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Paragon Skills?
The tips I would give to others applying to paragon skills would be not to stress and think your alone doing the work because your not. As you do this you gain confidence in yourself and the organisation give you that confidence boost and support as well.
