Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I have a split role, part of my role is a tutor/assessor for Early Years Educator and the other role is the DSL & PREVENT Lead. I deliver group training as well as one to ones.
I complete the delivery also of safeguarding training.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am enjoying the programme, and have to take my time to digest some of the assessment criteria, it is good also to have your own practice challenged. I enjoy sharing best practice with other people, and listening to their challenges on the course.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt about the different styles of delivery and how to approach tasks holistically.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme has been written well, and there are some good resources to use. I enjoy the time with the tutor whom is very supportive.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have ample opportunity to have time to complete my assignments, which helps, I work through my week, identifying areas which can be linked to the 20% off the job training.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There are serval ways we have access to support, which includes resources, workshops, supporting material, video's of sessions to gain the knowledge. Also tutor support through discussions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel I am learning how to challenge my own practice, and this will help with supporting my students, but also the different ways to deliver teaching will help with all areas of training.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, lots, afternoon tea, social events, virtual away days, keeping people talking has been a big focus in 2020 since lockdown.

It has a good vibe, family feel, lots of ways to progress and the support is very good. Nice holistic approach to ways of working too.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to LMP Group?
Ensure you know the length of the programme, have the support of your employer and ask for help when you find your course a challenge. You will have great support from the LMP team.
