I work on campaigns and I help create copy and design emails for our database.
I support on-site campaigns and support on optimisation for emails and a/b testing.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy how I have been able to lead certain projects and work streams and also enjoy our trainings. I love my team and despite COVID having daily interactions and working with them has still been fun.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I've been able to understand from my role how Google is structured and how it relates to the wider business. I've been given responsibilities to lead projects and learn when needed. Learning and training has linked to my work projects.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have weekly's with my manager and mentor. Support has been great, recently I struggled however I am now getting more support which is helping.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Whitehat have provided a lot of support from training and coaching.
Coach has been super helpful for apprenticeship work and workside.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Our training links to on the on the job experience, and day to day. Even though I won't get work experience in all of it but it really helps to know more about the industry.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes I've met up socially with my team, and able to support with committees. Virtual networking has been great.

The community and network you build is great as you learn from so many people. The support is great to!
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Google?
Go for the application and don't be scared! You never know what will happen so just try.
It can be daunting and long but every stage is is so important.
I wish I was told when I was started that it's okay to not know everything and its okay to make mistakes!!
