Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Helping out in various areas of sustainability, recently with a focus on regulation due to new reporting requirements in the EU. I also work on client questionnaires, present internally on various topics such as our approach to ESG integration in investments, track our ESG AUM, create slide decks, help with sustainability reporting requirements.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes - a lot of responsibility. I have presented to managing directors and executive directors, and all my work is used by the company. i have joint ownership of a few areas such as ESG client questionnaires and ESG AUM tracking

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

Very much as I have been doing a broad range of tasks which makes my role interesting, no tasks or projects are the same. this has helped me figure out what career area i would be most interested in/like to focus on
