Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
I was allocated a supervisor (one for each week) and was allocated tasks from them. I also had 2/3 sessions organised by departments and early legal careers with the rest of my cohort. There were also socials after the day. And a few assesments at the end of the 2 weeks for a training contract.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was great. The sessions helped to know the firm in great depth and there were lots of chances for questions from lawyers in all walks of life / career progression. We even got a session with [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] the senior partner. We also were allowed to organise coffee chats with staff and get to know their role within the firm

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Amazing. Truly collegiate. Everyone is willing to talk to you, even though you are there for two weeks. You feel like you are part of the firm. Your supervisors are so supportive, really responsive. Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
To a great extent. The scheme was really well organised. It was a great blend of work experience, interactive sessions and networking opportunities. My cohort was friendly and the lawyers and staff were so supportive.
