Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Partners sharing their stories on how they ended up in EY, networking with fellow interns, talking to employees about their day-to-day operations, mock assessment centre to help prepare us for future applications.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was quite nice in the sense that existing employees who work in different service lines were brought to the event. This meant that if we had any questions or worries about the role we applied the were quickly answered by the right people.

I managed to help develop my confidence and improve my collaboration skills in the mock assessment centre. It means that I now have an idea of what to expect about it in the future.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I very much so enjoyed the event but I believe for me to have enjoy it to a stronger extent the programme would have to be a little longer. This is because I feel like the one in-person day isn’t long enough to make the best of the opportunity. Maybe we can look at real work and tasks?

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY
Be yourself and confident. EY are a laid back firm as long as you live up to your commitments and promises.
Do not have too many things on your plate when it comes to work and it is okay not to know everything.
