WIP Review

The Women Immersion Programme at Nomura was an incredible opportunity to gain first-hand insight into investment banking and Nomura’s inclusive culture. Over the course of the programme, I took part in interactive workshops, case studies, and networking sessions with professionals from various divisions like Global Markets and Investment Banking. Day-to-day, we engaged in group exercises, learned about real-life transactions, and received practical career advice. What stood out to me was how approachable and supportive the team was, which made the experience both insightful and genuinely inspiring. It really strengthened my interest in pursuing a career in finance.

It was eye-opening to get such a comprehensive overview of the business and the wide range of roles available. Hearing directly from professionals across different divisions helped me understand how the various teams collaborate to deliver value to clients. It also clarified where my own strengths and interests could fit in. It made the career paths within finance feel much more tangible and accessible.
