Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
When we joined the desks in the morning, I read the news and started working on my project. During the day, I talked to a lot of people to find out what the do here, what they enjoy about working here and much more. When working on my project, I talked a lot to my buddy and he explained a lot.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I did have an idea about what I wanted to do, and I am still confident in my choice. However, I learnt why exactly I prefer trading over other roles.

Because I Talked to a lot of people, I was able to get a great overview of what is happening on the trading floor. That way I developed my skills to hold conversations, to ask people to have a conversation and to think critically.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone was outgoing and approachable. The work ethic is great. Even though everyone is really concentrated they will take time to talk to you.
