Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The insight involved working in groups to analyse a case study as well as listening to panel talks about seniors in the audit and tax industry. Furthermore, there was focus on ESG and DSI initiatives that Deloitte focus on and possible networks to be involved in.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was interesting to learn about the business divisions with audit and tax and how these differe from one another. This insight programme also allowed me to learn more about career progression within audit.

I developed my public speaking skills when we got the opportunity to deliver a pitch to representatives from Deloitte. This also helped me enhance my teamwork and communication skills when working with a group of other students.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture was very inclusive and welcoming. When senior members of staff gave talks about their job role, it was clear they enjoyed what they do.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte
I would say make sure to show your interest and passion for the firm and why you want to explore the division you are applying to. Also, try not to overthink your answers when completing the online assessment and job simulation, while making sure your answers are accurate.
