Spring into Deloitte (Audit & Tax) Review

During the Spring into Deloitte insight programme, I explored the Audit & Tax division through presentations, skills workshops, and a client case study. We worked in teams to analyse a fast-growing company and presented solutions using Deloitte’s audit, assurance, and tax expertise. Each day included networking sessions with analysts and partners, giving us valuable insight into the firm’s culture, career paths, and impact. It was engaging, collaborative, and very well structured.

Understanding Deloitte’s business structure and potential roles was incredibly insightful. I gained a clear picture of how Audit & Assurance, Tax, and Consulting fit together to deliver value to clients. Through presentations and networking, I learnt what day-to-day roles look like and how career paths can evolve. Hearing directly from analysts and partners gave me a realistic and inspiring view of working at Deloitte, helping me see where I could contribute in the future.

I developed key skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and professional communication. Working on a real client simulation improved my ability to structure business problems using MECE and present clear, actionable solutions. I also gained a deeper understanding of audit, assurance, and tax services, and how they add value to clients. Networking with Deloitte professionals helped strengthen my confidence and gave me insight into effective stakeholder communication.

The atmosphere at Deloitte was welcoming, supportive, and genuinely inspiring. Everyone we met — from recent grads to partners — was approachable and happy to share their experiences. The culture felt collaborative rather than competitive, and it was clear that people were proud to work there. I especially appreciated how inclusive and down-to-earth the environment was. Even in a short time, it felt like a place where people are encouraged to grow and be themselves.
