Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

The insight week took place virtually over Microsoft Teams, where we were given a case study to review in a team. We then presented our findings to senior members of Deloitte staff on day two. Throughout the program, there were multiple talks from Deloitte employees which gave us an insight into what they do at Deloitte, as well as the different networks available to employees.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

It was helpful to gain a deeper understanding of Audit & Tax, as well as all the different roles throughout these two business areas. There was also a lot of information given on Deloitte as a company, which helped my general understanding of large accounting firms.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was extremely positive, with all employees being friendly and open to questions. We were also given a lot of information on the diverse networks available at Deloitte.
