Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
on day one we learned some skills on how Deloitte employees would go about resolving any issues and problems. Here, I learned about “MECE” a technique where you separate any problems into subtopics: mutually, exclusive, collectively, exhaustive and identify where each would fit out of these four categories.
I also got to network with current Deloitte members of the team as well as Deloitte senior leaders.
This was incredibly useful, being able to understand the path each and everyone took, the challenges they faced, how to overcome this, the experiences they gained throughout it and what actually made them stay.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It opened a lot of doors and leeway for me as I wasn’t sure if I wanted to focus more into audit or tax and being able to partake in this programme really meant that I knew exactly where I want to go from this experience.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture and atmosphere is very welcoming, bright and vivid. It immediately gave this intangible warmth that I haven’t had with any other companies prior Deloitte which solidified why I want to pursue a future with Deloitte.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
This is was an incredible experience and so knowledgeable. It really showed that there is no stopping your growth, there’s always going to be someone to help you and guide you for when you feel lost and it’s just amazing.

Always research about the company on their website, look at their core values and look at yourself, and ask yourself if these values align with you.
It’s the most vital part for me, I don’t want to represent some company where I don’t feel like I fit in and I’m more than grateful to have found Deloitte.
