Prime Brokerage Client Coverage, speaking to Hedge Fund clients who use Morgan Stanley as a Prime Broker.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I was surprised at how soon I was allowed to speak to clients. You are given as much responsibility as you are willing to take on and there is the opportunity to contribute to some of the larger accounts too.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I really enjoyed my year, despite working virtually for 6 months. I think that my professional skills have developed signfiicantly. When looking back at how much I have learnt I am so glad that I took this opportunity. It is a great environment to learn in and I was very grateful to start my carear as part of such a well organised placement programme.

Spend time on your application, make sure that you are applying for the right reasons and you have a genuine interest in the area you are looking at. If you get the opportunity to join Morgan Stanley than ask as many questions as possible when you first start.
