Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Assigned to an audit engagement. Revenue testing, cash testing, online bank confirmations, inter company testing. Visiting client sites, emailing clients.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
A lot more than expected. Given freedom to work independently with just a check-in from a manager every few hours or so. Was able to contact clients myself.
