Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Gained an insight into different hubs across Tax, Audit Support and Advisory within the Shared Service Centre in Liverpool. Shadowed staff, completed case studies and worked on a group project.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Due to being in the Shared Service Centre and moving around so many hubs, we didn't complete any live work and were mostly doing training and shadowing. However, this meant we gained a lot of knowledge and insight across a range of roles.
