Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As an IB intern I have had the chance to do marketing and company research, draft presentation and provide support on building xls model. I have interacted with employees of different seniority and had exposure to live deals. I have also had the chance to present my intern project, a pitch for a potential transaction, to the team and senior professionals. The experience was enriched by several presentations surrounding important themes, ESG, diversity in the workplace, etc.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes - have been given a lot of exposure and this has allowed me to grow both as a professional and as a person.
