Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I've got daily project catch-ups and assisted in project work. Also, I had training sessions and coffee chats with full-time employees twice a week.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Not really, people I worked with assigned project tasks to me, and we had regular catch-ups to see my progress and review my work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I learned power BI modelling and DAX through a virtual training session. And I further developed my EXCEL skills and gained a deeper understanding of DCF and WACC.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

Every one in the team supported me. For example, people I worked with helped me onboard the projects and let me had a big picture of the project context. My colleagues walked me through the internal website and DCF/WACC template.
