Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Collaborated with peers on a case study project to understand the type of work that is carried out in the tax/audit division. Listened to presentations from employees to discuss company life and what it takes to become successful in respective roles. Learned the key skills needed to work in a firm such as Deloitte. Delved deeper into the tax division of the company to learn about what the company does in detail and how it benefits 3rd parties. Researched and understood tax principles and key terms that are commonly used. Engaged with partners to gain an idea of how the company operates and all that is required to reach the position.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was eye-opening; I personally didn’t know there was such a broad range of opportunities available within the company. The experience showed me there can be something for everyone at Deloitte.
