Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
During the programme, we were taught many lifelong skills which were integrated together with teamwork, problem-solving and resilience building exercises which allowed us to be fully immersed in the insight scheme and Deloitte as a whole. We were also given the opportunity to tackle a case study from a real-life client of Deloitte's.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I feel that my attendance at this event was extremely rewarding as I was able to see the underpinnings of the consulting structure and how consultants under one portfolio may use alternative strategies to that under another.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have further ameliorated my teamwork skills as a direct benefit of the Spring into Deloitte programme. I was also taught how to develop mastery alongside understanding how to furher improve existing skills and by practicing the techniques taught to us, we were provided with a means to develop these skills.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
You were able to get a great sense of the atmosphere from only the first day of being there. Furthermore, by engaging with the employees there I was personally able to make my own judgement of the culture at Deloitte and found it to be very supportive and also a sense of striving for excellence whilst upholding an inclusive community.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I truly enjoyed the insight scheme as a whole. Not only was I able to learn and understand a great deal about Deloitte, consulting and how to improve the skills needed to excel in this industry, I was also able to make valuable connections with fellow peers and accomplished consultants at Deloitte.
