Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

As an intern I was allowed to do any work I could get from my teammates, this gave me an opportunity to learn a lot about what the team does and what clients they work with. I also was lucky to attend a client meeting alongside the team's partners with was an amazing experience. I learned how to use internal tools, the style of communication with clients, and how to do some of the work the team does on the date to day basis.

I had a responsibility to be sensible with confidential information, be professional and follow the rules

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I have learned a lot about share options and employee award schemes, Tax legislations of different countries, the way different countries tax employees who travel for work, many new Excel formulae, internal tools, etc.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I had a very high expectations but they turned out to be too low. I really enjoyed my time here and I would like to come back and recommend it to others.
