Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The SVS students were always included in the day-to-day of the tax team, we were taught how to use the software from scratch and were offered support every step of the way.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Very interesting! The company hires staff from a range of backgrounds and degree pathways, so knowing that you could go into so much more than you thought you could was one of the highlights of this programme.

Yes. My interpersonal and communication skills have definitely gotten better. I am also more confident in my ability to achieve things I did not think I could.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very welcoming! All of the staff were very friendly and understanding that the SVS students would not know much about tax and accountancy, and were all willing to help us from the ground up.

Try to read around current happenings in the world. Also just be yourself! The interviewers and staff are trying to get to know the real you, so please come prepared but not too nervous.
