Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
- My daily tasks were a mix of compliance and advisory work
- This includes writing PoA reminders, creating PowerPoints for internal teams to understand proposals better, and creating excel spreadsheets with the purpose of ordering client data to make future work more efficient.
- I also sat in on multiple meeting learning more about professional conduct and different departments within tax

- yes I was, was involved in many tasks that contained sensitive client information.
- In addition it was up to me to grasp the opportunities around me, rather than sit and wait for people to approach me

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
- I thought it was a great learning experience and it really opened my eyes to the ins and outs of tax and what really goes on behind the scenes.
- I learnt more than I thought was possible and I can't wait to hopefully return!
