Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My role was working in the Student Accommodation Advisory team in the Manchester Office. I was given tasks such as: analysing data to identify supply and demand needs, create reports based on the data findings, updating existing data programmes, interacting with clients and providing advice. I was also tasked with a project to complete during my time, which was based on the team which i was working in. This was completed over the 4 weeks and then presented to the team at the end of the Internship.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was provided with a report to complete for a client. I was given guidance and support to complete this during my placement and this was later sent to the client.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I had a mentor which was with me everyday in the office and provided with many opportunities to talk and receive advice from the rest of the team. We were also contacted about networking opportunities and talks which would be beneficial.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was great, with such an uplifting and happy team. The atmosphere of the office was great, with workers interacting with one another.
