Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

The programme was 3 days long and involved a host of insightful experiences. There were many talks with leadership professionals across different service lines, and an opportunity to engage with representatives from various groups such as the social mobility network. There was also a half-day shadowing opportunity with someone in a similar service line to one which was applied for. Additionally, on the final day, there was a KPMG launch pad assessment centre.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

There were many opportunities to learn about my chosen service line.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

A great portion of the insight was learning about the culture of KPMG and exploring what their values mean in practice. It was a comfortable and accommodating environment.
