Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Conducting trials, for example transit tests, drop tests. Researching new materials and technologies. Developing new concept.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, had to conduct trials which later on effected the direction projects would go. I was able to lead my on individual project and take charge on the process and development of my ideas.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I was given the opportunity to be trained on several pieces of equipment. I had weekly 1-1 sessions with my managers which helped track my progress and identify areas of development and opportunities.
There was also a mentor scheme where we had the chance to be paired up with an associate from a different team or category and get tips from a different point of view.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed my placement and I had many opportunities even with the pandemic throughout my whole placement. I have learnt a lot and I have been given an insight into what I can do in the future.
