Ingredients Research and Recipe Designn Review

Researching new ingredients through literature and external suppliers. Designing and conducting experiments and trials, developing novel measurements, recording and analysing data, scouting new technology and communicating results to the technical leadership team and all R and D associates.

JDE entrusts each intern with a main project with outlined key deliverables. This allows for clear understanding of our responsibilities and expectations. Most importantly, the projects are significant to the business.
This may seem daunting at first but JDE provide an incredible amount of support and on the job training. They understand the challenges and the fact this will be our first time within industry.

JDE has constantly nurtured my professional development, my time here has taught me so much. I have strengthed my existing skills in communication, analytical interpretation and technical knowledge. As well as new skills (too many to name so here is a few) project management, understanding of the patent landscape, and designing trials.

The associates are friendly and always happy to answer questions or even come to interns for help. JDE employ a large cohort of interns each year and so employees welcome interns and look out for them.
Each intern is also given a mentor to go to for more pastoral support.
I was incredibly lucky to work closely with an truely inspirational manager. They supported both my professional and personal development.

There is a strong sense of community amongst the associates and they are very inclusive to the interns.

I loved my time at JDE and I will miss working with everyone. I am so grateful for opportunities and experiences i have gained here.
