Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Worked in the data analyst team on a project in the financial sector. This mainly involved working with excel and banks own data system to complete tasks in order to review where the banks systems required updating. This involved working in a small team on clients site a couple of days a week. I got to engage with both senior colleagues from Deloitte as well as the team on the client.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes I was treated the same as all other colleagues with increasingly difficult tasks once I proved I was a reliable and strong team member

I have developed my communication skills and my ability to work in a team. My technical skills have also developed including my excel and Microsoft office skills.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Company culture was very friendly and supportive. There were strong likes of communication throughout the business and help and support were always on offer
