Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

On a day-to-day basis I would be responsible for receiving and reporting status updates for a workstream and reporting this to my manager.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given a lot of responsibility - For example, when my manager took a week of leave my director put me in charge of covering for him.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

There was lots of support available. At any point in time I felt like I could ask for help and wouldn't feel judged for doing so. Everyone appreciates that they were in your shoes at one point in time so is happy to provide professional career advice in an informal way.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was amazing - I would rarely work beyond my contracted hours. On the rare occasion that I did, this didn't go unnoticed and I would be rewarded with an earlier finish the next day. Work-life balance is a major thing at Deloitte and I could clearly see this whilst working there.
