Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Deloitte Digital had many different roles and opportunities, and I was placed on one project, and was able to learn about that industry from partners, but was also able to hear about the other roles at Digital as well.
My day would consist of a stand up meeting with my team in the morning to check progress and tasks for the day, and then I would normally be doing presentation decks/excel

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I didn’t have contact with our clients during my internship, therefore I wouldn’t say I had responsibility in that aspect.

I developed my excel and presentation deck skills, but also how to speak to professional people in the workplace.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Great! We lots of socials and time to interact with other placements students - which made it a really friendly atmosphere!
I also loved the culture at Deloitte, you could see that lots of people loved their jobs and had been there for many years!

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I loved my time at Deloitte during my internship and am hoping to go back there once we hear about graduate roles!
We had the right balance of completing our work, meeting new people, learning about new industries and opportunities.
