Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Shadowing meetings, helping with formatting, producing PowerPoint decks, looking at governance structure, meeting with people from both the team/beyond to get an idea about Human Capital

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I feel that I was able to work independently and take responsibility for the deliverables I produced - I would check in fairly regularly for feedback with my mentor but felt I had an appropriate level of responsibility for the internship

I believe my proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and PowerPoint) has been greatly developed, I also feel that I have developed the skill of effective time management and minute taking

This is something the internship excelled at - the support network of mentor, manager, buddy and people lead meant that all aspects of my experience on the internship felt supported and I was always able to answer any queries both related to project work, administrative questions and long term career reflections

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Very friendly and supportive. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful and offered guidance. It felt like a company that wants its employees to grow and thrive.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I feel that I had a very positive experience on the internship - I was able to develop my skills, learn from team members, gain some clarity on my career ambitions and I enjoyed the work I completed.
