Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
In the office - attending client calls, small and basic administrative tasks, helpful learning sessions regarding tax legislation, ongoing development within global tax. Also had the opportunity to learn a great deal about transfer pricing and international business structures.
Some opportunities to leave the office on client meetings.
Mostly using Excel and compiling documents in Word, some opportunities for independent research.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Generally the interns are not given significant responsibility for tasks. There were some opportunities to take further responsibilities if wanted, such as being involved in client meetings.
