Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Working with my audit team to complete substantial and analytical procedures on the company's financial statements. Creating and completing work papers such as memos and testing that serve as audit documentation
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
The responsibility given to me during my placement definitely increased as time went on and I familiarised myself with Deloitte applications. By the end of my placement, I felt to be a integrated member of the team and had clear areas which I had responsibility over

There were multiple people who I could reach out to to ask questions and for guidance. Lots of lengthy trainings during the start of placement which set me up well to join an audit team.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Company culture was great and very positive. Didn't feel like a super corporate vibe which made it a lovely environment to be in, everyone was super friendly and inclusive

I thoroughly enjoyed my placement, though the hours were quite long and sometimes stressful, the environment was super positive and everyone was very understanding
