Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Generally looking at financial statements and making sure all receipts and expenses were accounted for. This required team communication and talking to clients. We also had many SVS specific activities.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was confusing at first when applying but became clearer when at the office. I learnt a lot about the audit service line but practically nothing about the others.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
It was really enjoyable and quite difficult but I am extremely glad I did the placement as it gave me knowledge that I didn’t have before. I had a really great team and the other interns were so friendly.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte
Be honest if you don’t know what the job entails, I had a real laugh about it with my interviewer. The interview is really straightforward and just asks about some really basic current topics — you will be absolutely fine!
