Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I assisted the audit team during the planning and execution of an audited entity by obtaining audit evidence. I prepared analysis of accounting data from client’s books and records. I also developed strong relationships with the client.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given much responsibility during my placement - for example I was responsible for several sections of the audit such as cash.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I throughly enjoyed my placement at BDO due to the skills that I have developed and the experiences I have gained. I believe it was a very valuable experience and would recommend to undergrads who are currently looking for experience within the audit sector.
