Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Researching the clients and how their business might be affected by external factors. Excel was then used to review and cross-reference financial accounts against expectations and evidence provided by the clients.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I learnt a lot more about the roles available within audit but specifically worked in the portfolio team, which I believe to be a good fit for me. I also learnt a lot more about Deloitte and how their business runs.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The office I worked in had a very friendly environment where I felt my manager ensured I had many opportunities to learn. All other colleagues I worked with were also extremely supportive.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I thoroughly enjoyed the internship, mostly due to the people I worked with (Deloitte employees and other summer interns). I was also given the opportunity to try lots of different types of work involved in an audit and enjoyed learning lots of new skills.

For the application process just make sure to be yourself and show the skills you have that you think would make you a good employee. For the internship, make the most of the experience, by building connections with those you work with and learning as much as you can.
