Day to day changes hugely, but expect lots of Microsoft, lots of meetings, and some really fun personal development opportunities. Project management can be a part of the day to day too, keeping team calendars up to date and connecting with client teams to share meeting notes, organise recurring meetings etc.
You may also be facilitating workshops, attending in person with the client, and undertaking training wherever possible!

You are given as much responsibility as you can handle, and they make it clear you can say no if the task is too much or too overbearing. The firm is fantastic at caring for its early talent - both bright starts and IP’s, so you'll be in safe hands with regard to responsibilities over your work.

Soft skills such as managing upwards, general business acumen, and confidence in presenting (virtually and in person) are all skills you’ll develop too.

There is a huge support structure; For the first several months, you have an on-hand ‘buddy’ to go to with any specific questions about the firm or analyst life. You have a dedicated people lead, who you regularly check in with who supports your ‘life at Deloitte’, you have a project lead, who you can talk to about dedicated project questions, and a dean for any wider firm questions.

Inclusive, young, and dynamic are the three words I’d use. Deloitte is continuously one of the worlds top performing companies is inclusivity, workplace culture, and plenty of other indicators, and it shows - there are regular social events for networking, plenty of societies etc to get involved in, and a fantastic relaxation/break floor (which can also be used for working sessions to think ideas through)

My placement has been fantastic, and really helped define Deloitte as a long term career option for me. Although there are hard days as with any career, there are many more amazingly positive days. The company is widespread and large enough to be able to provide amazing opportunities, and it makes sure this is also reflected to early talent, which is not something many companies do.
